Course Description:
This course is designed to teach all administrator functions of CA-Scheduler™ Release 9.1 from the system generation parameters to integration with other products and platforms. Students will learn implementation procedures, how to define and maintain datetables, schedules, jobs, email definitions, and cross platform jobs.  The second phase on the training will include schedule and job tracking, criteria language, scheduling techniques, system internals, daily maintenance procedures with the CA-Datacom™ database and security set-ups.

Audience:
The audience consists of the CA-Scheduler™ Administrators, Senior Operators, and Production Control Staff.

Course Description:
The advanced course is for those who administer the product and have at least 6 months experience using the product or took the CA-Scheduler™ Administrator Course. Primary areas covered in this course are: Advanced scheduling techniques,  integrating with other platforms, using automation products with CA-Scheduler™, advanced criteria language coding, setting up email alerts and using VRM. Other areas that will be covered are the Critical Path Monitor, Autoscan command file usage, making mass database changes using the unload/upload procedure and the CA-Driver™ interface.

Course Description:
This course is designed to teach all Operational Functions of CA-Scheduler™ Release 9.1 from  Signing on to integration with other CA Products. Students will learn start-up/shutdown procedures, tracking and controlling schedules and jobs, as well as rerunning or restarting production jobs with or without CA-11™. The students will also learn the details of the daily autoscan function and recovery procedures from a system failure or crash.

Audience:
The audience consists of the CA-Scheduler™ operational staff, all senior operators, and production control.

Course Description:
This course is designed to teach Installation Options and Administrator Functions on the scheduling of Cross Platform (remote agent) jobs using CA-Scheduler™ Release 9.1.  Installation setups for OS/390/z/OS and Non-mainframe platforms are covered along with the CAICCI (Common Communications Interface) required setups. Students will learn how to define and track remote agent jobs (cross platform) to the CA-Scheduler™ database, how to implement and integrate remote jobs into the mainframe schedules, and how to re-rerun/restart remote agent jobs from CA-Scheduler™.
